Fun and Useful Websites, Links, and Resources

This is a list of websites and resources that I really love! Some are for fun, and others are more just for reference. Please go check them out if you feel so inclined! :)

Fun and Games

  • Sailor Moon TV: If you're a fan of the Dic/Cloverway dub of Sailor Moon, go check this out ASAP. They have all the episodes, plus the movies and original songs. I don't know what it is, but there's just something about the Dic dub, to me that has so much more....personality. I know it's censored to hell and back and made Uranus and Neptune kissin' cousins, but....I can't help but having a soft spot for it.

  • Super Senshi Playground: This lovely website has been up since 2005! Can you believe it? I used to play on it all the time as a kid, and I still love it. There's games, puzzles, quizzes, and a whole lot more!

  • Rooms.xyz: This is a fun little website where you can decorate a room! Super fun and relaxing, and you can save them!
  • DressUpGames.Com:This one is definitely an oldie but a goodie! Up since 1998, people!! I spent HOURS as a little girl on this site, playing dress-up and decorating games.
  • Doll Divine:Another veteran of the dress-up game world.
  • Cool Math Games:The one website that, for a long time, WASN'T blocked on our school computers. Has pretty much all the Papa's Cinematic Universe-eria games.
  • Neopets: Yes, it still exists!

  • My Retro TVs: This is a really neat little site. You can watch old-school TV, from the 50's all the way to the 2000's, complete with a remote to change channels and all.
  • We The Pixies:A lovingly-made recreation of Pixie Hollow Online.

  • Coloring Bunny: Online Coloring: Do coloring sheets in your browser with this fun website. I tried to find ones without any AI art, and this one looks like they have their own artist doing the drawings.
  • Flashpoint Archive: A huge archive of flash games, animations, etc.
  • Princess Peachie Dress-Up Games: I don't know if I'm the only one who remembers her, but Princess Peachie was a Deviantart user who made many flash dress-up games that I absolutely loved. I don't know what happened to her, but I will always remember how happy her games made me!
  • W.I.T.C.H. Guardian Maker V2 by hapuriainen: Another fun character creator I used to play on Deviantart. Hapuriainen was one of the GOATS of character makers.
  • Dollz Mania:On our very own Neocities, an vast archive of Dollz. Remember those? Those little pixel dolls that had drag and drop bodies and clothes? I 'member!

Yummies

  • Plain Chicken: Lots of savory, flavorful recipes here. I would say that most of these recipes are very "midwestern", but definitely crowd-pleasers. Definitely not low-calorie, but delicious!
  • The Flouring Kitchen: Rich, decadent, amazing dessert recipes. I found this one on Tiktok! Everything she makes looks like a scrumptious work of art.
  • Your Barefoot Neighbor: Love this guy! He creates really simple, low-effort, easy to follow recipes. As someone who struggles with chronic pain, his recipes are extremely helpful.
  • Hungry Happens: This one has more healthy recipes, great especially if you're trying to stick to Mediterannean or anti-inflammation.
  • Zestful Kitchen: Another good one with a variety of different recipes. The author of this website is a food scientist!
  • Chelsweets: More delicious desserts!
  • Fit Green Mind: Focused on plant-based recipes. I'm not a vegan or vegetarian myself, but I am trying to reduce my meat intake for health reasons, and she has helped!
  • Cooking in the Midwest: More classic midwest cooking!
  • Dollar Tree Dinners: This woman means everything to me. When I lost my job and was still looking, her recipes helped me out a LOT.
  • Kiki Rough: Very similar to Dollar Tree dinners, Kiki rough teaches you how to cook with what you have, and how to make something out of nothing.
  • The Golden Balance: Creative, fun recipes that are a mix of both healthy dishes and fun treats.
  • Jose el Cook: Impressive and delicious-looking recipes. I found him on Youtube!
  • Half-Baked Harvest: A variety of all types of recipes.

Arts and Crafts

  • The Caffeinated Snail: Very cute crochet patterns! I love, love, love this site!
  • Monday Mandala: Coloring and activity sheets for kids and adults of all ages.
  • Nacho Ann's: Secondhand craft supplies, for those that miss JoAnn's and want to avoid Michael's and Hobby Lobby.
Media
  • The Internet Archive: The internet's own archive. Find archived tv shows, movies, games, images, music, and more here. One of the most important websites for media preservation.
  • Vimm's Lair: Video game emulators and ROMs.
  • Anna's Archive: The largest resource for books, comics, and textbooks.
  • Library Genesis: More book downloads.
  • Z-Library: Even more book downloads.
  • Roms Games: Retro video game Roms.
  • Old Games Download: A lot more old games, ot just for platforms, but PC as well.
  • Calibre: A really neat ebook management program for PC. I use it myself and it's pretty awesome!
  • YT-DLP: Program for downloading audio and video from Youtube.
  • Jellyfin: A program that lets you host your own media. It's like having your own personal Netflix, but free!
  • Libby: Rent ebooks, audiobooks, and magazines using your library card. No late fees, ever.
  • Hoopla: Movies, shows, audiobooks, and ebooks, all free with you library card.
  • Spotidownloader: Download playlists from spotify with this free online tool. I use it sooooo much.
  • Only Mp3: Reliable Youtube to Mp3 downloader.
